Philippine Aquatics, Inc., holds 2026 General Assembly, Elects New Leadership Philippine Aquatics, Inc. convened its 2026 General Assembly, bringing together Regional Directors from across the country and representatives from all aquatic disciplines for a unified gathering aimed at strengthening the direction of aquatic sports in the Philippines. During the assembly, the organization formally elected its Board of Trustees and Officers for the 2026–2028 term. Elected to lead the federation are President Miko Angelo Vargas, Vice President Jojo Quilop, Secretary General Eric Buhain, and Treasurer Marie Antoinete Dimanche. To further support the organization’s programs and operations, the President also appointed Anthony Reyes and Jess Arriola as Executive Directors. The proceedings were duly witnessed and certified by Atty. Wharton Chan, representative of the Philippine Olympic Committee, ensured that all actions undertaken during the assembly were in accordance with established governance standards. A key highlight of the assembly was the approval of amendments to the organization’s bylaws. It was agreed that the current set of officers will serve a two-year term from 2026 to 2028. Beginning in 2028, all succeeding elected officers will serve a four-year term, aligning leadership continuity with long-term development goals.
