Philippine Aquatics Leaders Meet with Chairman Patrick Gregorio in Bacolod City
Philippine Aquatics, Inc. (PAI) Vice President Jojo Quilop, together with artistic swimming coach Giella Sanchez and members of the Philippine team, paid a courtesy visit to Chairman Patrick Gregorio during a lunch meeting in Bacolod City.
The meeting was part of the preparations for two major upcoming competitions: the Southeast Asian Age Group Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on November 25–30, 2026, and Batang Pinoy 2026, which will be hosted by Bacolod City on December 12–17, 2026.
The gathering provided an opportunity for Philippine Aquatics leaders and members of the national team to discuss preparations for the upcoming competitions and strengthen collaboration in supporting Filipino athletes.
The Southeast Asian Age Group Championships will bring together young swimmers from across the region, providing Filipino athletes with an opportunity to showcase their skills and compete against some of Southeast Asia’s best.
Meanwhile, Batang Pinoy 2026 will serve as a major platform for discovering and developing young sporting talents from different parts of the country.
Philippine Aquatics continues to strengthen its commitment to athlete development, international competitiveness, and grassroots sports development through partnerships and collaborative efforts with sports leaders and stakeholders.
As the country prepares for these important competitions, PAI remains focused on providing Filipino athletes with opportunities to excel and represent the Philippines with pride on the national and international stage.
Together, we move Philippine aquatics forward!
